Computer Associates
"As the adoption of Web services by businesses worldwide continues to grow, it's becoming more important to effectively provide reliable and standards-based discovery of these services. Along with advances in the standards for management and security of Web services, these latest enhancements to UDDI will help enterprises address these challenges and will, therefore, promote broader adoption of Web services and drive development of business solutions that take advantage of interoperability between multiple Web services."

White Papers and Books
UDDI.org White Papers
UDDI.org published two educational white papers in conjunction with the formal ratification of version 3 of the standard; the first presents an executive overview of UDDI and its business value to implementors of web services-based infrastructure. The second highlights key features of the standard, with an emphasis on features new to version 3.
UDDI Executive Overview: Enabling Service-Oriented Architecture
The Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) protocol is a key member of the group of interrelated standards that comprise the Web services stack. It defines a standard method for publishing and discovering the network-based software components of a service-oriented architecture (SOA). This paper discusses the strategic rationale for UDDI and analyzes its enabling role in the context of today's enterprise Web services applications. A companion slide presentation is also provided (available in PDF and PowerPoint formats).
Products and Services
UDDI products and components ship from multiple vendors, consortia and also available as open source. These products and components fall in various categories such as UDDI Registry Server, UDDI-enabled IDEs and development tools, Java and .NET client toolkits and browsers, and UDDI-integrated Web services platforms. Providers of UDDI solutions are encouraged to add their own products to this list.
